Browser-based scanner solution for mobile tool management
TDM ScanEasy is a web application and connects your employees on the shopfloor with the tool crib and the TDM server. Communication takes place via Wi-Fi and thus enables data transmission in real time. Bookings and queries are transferred and executed immediately, making the data directly available to other tool management processes. TDM ScanEasy runs in the browser of mobile data collection devices with laser scanners – so-called MDE devices, which are robust, portable computers specially developed for use in shopfloor applications. These scanners are very powerful and, depending on the model, can also detect and read engraved or lasered codes on low-contrast surfaces such as tools.
