Due to a group-wide digital transformation project, Seco Tools launched a pilot project at its site in Bourges, France. This aimed to optimize production processes – using TDM software to manage tools and production resources. The goal, to implement an Industry 4.0-like approach, is now successfully realized with the following benefits:

- Increased reliability: single, centralized, and always up-to-date tool data base
- Optimization of consumables: visualization of the location of each tool
