Positive energy brings people together
Bright eyes and an infectious laugh – that is how you identify Stefanie Henneberg at TDM Systems. For over three years, the 39-year-old events manager has been the central point of contact for events. Whether partner events, large trade shows, open houses or even digital events, she pulls the strings and ensures that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Her trademark: With lots of positive energy, she brings people together and organizes events with great added value for the participants.
Discovering something new and gaining experience
From a very early stage, it was clear to Stefanie Henneberg that she wanted to get to know the world. After training as a tourism assistant, her next step followed in this direction. "I always liked to travel and wanted to discover new things, so I chose to study in the Netherlands," she explains. What she learned in her studies was extremely practical and she is still benefiting from it. "All of the topics were handled in theory as well as in practical use cases, so we learned from the very beginning to find solutions and work together in teams." With her structured working method, she coordinates all individual tasks involved in organizing large and smaller events at TDM Systems. She develops ideas, implements these, and also takes care of the technical implementation.
Event organization is teamwork
"Trade show organization is always also a team effort because many sub-projects from various areas flow into this since we see numerous partial projects coming in from a range of departments – things only work well when you cooperate," explains Henneberg positively. This year, TDM Systems will again be attending the trade shows in person: With a new key visual and a new key message "Digital.Experienced.Powerful. – 100% Tool Management". Implementing this at the stand is also one of Henneberg's tasks. But organizing the technology is equally important. Starting with the software versions, data and applications, right through to decisions regarding hardware, such as monitors and similar. "We want to have a coherent storyline that invites the visitors to our stand and meets the information needs of the interested parties," says Henneberg.
Visitors and the stand team should be satisfied
Of course, Stefanie also wants to offer the visitors an all-round successful visit to the booth. Shortly before the trade show, she is organizing trade show training sessions for the booth team and "checking" all of the conditions and the catering again. This includes the entire booth team receiving training, ensuring that the clothing matches, the give-aways and also that the questions from interested parties are answered as quickly as possible by the internal sales team. Of course, the well-being of the booth team is also close to her heart. The actual organization therefore gets started much sooner: Booth space, positioning, hotels and transfers – arrangements for all of this must be initiated early on. Now the hot phase starts for her, with the construction and final touches before the trade show doors open. "As always, this is incredibly exciting and I am now curious to see whether our concept will work for this year's trade shows."
